Job - SALES CO-ORDINATOR

THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidate will act as a fully commissioned sales representative to support Free Geek Toronto's services and products. This is a great role for individuals who thrive on challenge and setting their own schedule, and enjoy directly reaping the rewards of their efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Build relationships and facilitate the arrangements to generate used computer donations and pickup fees.
  • Contribute to Thrift Store sales through generating inventory of saleable merchandise.
  • Actively manage an on-line sales presence to sell Free Geek services and products.
  • Participate in the generation of hard disk clean-up service fees (and possibly contribute directly to providing the service).
  • Find additional products and services to generate revenue, ensuring they fit with Free Geek's mandate.
  • Complete monthly sales reports for review by Free Geek Toronto Council.
  • Work in conjunction with staff including the operations coordinator, other sales coordinators, volunteers.
  • Maintain an electronic inventory of items available for sale.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
Working hours are flexible, and the work can be done on premises at Free Geek Toronto and at home.

COMMISSION ON SALES
The commission on sales is set at 25%. Further details will be provided to applicants.

CANDIDATES
The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the goods and services for sale by Free Geek Toronto.
  • Have previous experience with sales strategies and tactics, including direct-mail, electronic marketing, and cold-calling potential customers.
  • Be willing to contribute to the production process and the entire supply chain to ensure there is enough product to sell.
  • Be a self-starter, comfortable in setting his/her own schedule and priorities,
