Return Policy & FAQ

What is Free Geek Toronto’s Return Policy?

The Free Geek Toronto’s return policy applies to items not sold “as-is”. These items cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason.

Return Policy: To return an item, you must present your receipt at the time of return. The item must be in the same condition as when it was sold and have the original stickers attached. All returns are for store credit only. In-store credit never expires. We do not offer cash refunds for any reason. We cannot provide duplicate copies of store credits.

7-Day Exchange: Refurbished computers are returnable for a period of 7 calendar days from the date of purchase for in-store credit.

Systems returned for reasons other than hardware faults are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Online Orders

If an item is purchased online but has not been picked up or shipped, our regular return policy applies including the 15% restocking fee.

If an item has been shipped, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning/exchanging your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
